Timeline
- 2018: Wonder is founded by Marc Lore with a mission to make great food more accessible.
- 2020: First "mobile restaurants" launch in Westfield, NJ — cooking meals in sprinter vans.
- FEB 2023: We pivot to brick-and-mortar, opening our first physical location in NYC.
- NOV 2023: Wonder acquires Blue Apron, adding meal kits and moving toward the "super app for mealtime."
- APR 2024: Wonder acquires Relay Delivery, strengthening logistics and last-mile network.
- 2024: We expand beyond NY & NJ into Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and our first Walmart location.
- JAN 2025: Wonder acquires Grubhub, rapidly expanding restaurant partnerships and national delivery.
- MAR 2025: Wonder acquires Tastemade, unlocking culinary and lifestyle content capabilities.
- 2025: Expanding to Philadelphia and DMV, on pace for 90+ open locations by year end.
- 2026: We're only getting started. Building the premiere platform to feed every craving, all in one order.
